What is something unique, cheap, and fun to do in NYC?

Lol, wow, it's sad that your very young and prejudice ALREADY. Wow, anyway, there are not any social things to do in Harlem, the only thing is Harlem right now is unaffordable apartments and real estate. You will have to go aaaaallllll the way downtown (times square, movies, etc.). Even people from uptown (Harlem) and midtown go downtown to have a good time, because that's where all the public things/places are to have a good time. But seriously, you said you didn't mean anything bad by saying "dont send me to harlem to get mugged" and then you tried to clear it up by saying "harlem is rumored to have a lot of gangs". I was born and raised here, I'm 17 now, and there are no more gangs in Harlem, now there may be some all the way down in El Barrio (Spanish Harlem, a VERY SMALL part of east harlem). So yeah, don't believe everything the media/movies tell you, and please become less prejudice because it will make you a better person. :)
