My 99 Dodge Intrepid shuts off while im driving, lights stay on though....what could be the problem?

A few weeks ago...i was driving on the street and pressing the gas...then my car just shuts off...so i try to start it again...takes a few times but it does start...so I drive it to the mechanic and they see that the coolant is leaking out so they replace the water pump. Its been running okay for a week but sometimes it would hesitate when I step on the gas. And yesterday, I was on the freeway and it just shut off on me again. I was able to coast on off the freeway down the exit....tried starting it again right away and wouldnt start...waited about 40 minutes then it started. Now when im driving it feels like its hesitating more like its going to turn off again. I had a new battery put in a couple months ago and a new radiator fan....im scared to be driving this thing now

Deceased Facebook accounts?

My dad recently friend requested me on facebook. Normally this wouldn`t be a big deal, but he died almost 6 years ago. It turned out my uncle created an account for him as an `in memory` thing. My uncle has not personally contacted me, or even asked me or the family about what we think about the whole thing. Personally, when I first saw my dad`s name pop up in a friend request I was shocked, horrified, sickened, and nearly burst into tears. This is not, NOT something I am ok with. I know its becoming more popular for family to have accounts for their deceased, but 6 years after the fact? For me its adding insult to injury. My uncle sent a mass email out to the family saying he did it because he thought it would be a great way for people who didn`t know him that well to get to know him. He said he wanted to share stories we all had of my dad. That`s all great, I guess. But why do it on facebook and not in person. Facebook, to me, belittles his memory, it trifles it, and why would someone want to get to know him better? He`s dead. There are people living who people should get to know. WE NEVER talk about his memory in person with the whole family. His death has never openly been addressed at family functions, so why do it now, 6 years later, on facebook. It really makes me sick. How do I respectfully give my thoughts to my uncle? I know I can`t ask him to take it down. And I can`t rudely tell him I want to vomit, but I do. My dad was not a facebook person, and I don`t think he would want this. I would have appreciated my uncle consulting me and the rest of the family first, but he didn`t and now I feel this big heavy weight inside my chest whenever I think about this. Advice, comments? sure, there's lots of ways to set up something like that, why not just a T fitting and a couple valves? I don't get the big problem. There's also fittings especially for easy removing of pumps, they can leak though.

My car runs lousy when the A/C is on?

My 2008 Kia Rondo LXV6 runs lousy when the A/C is on by normally when it is off. When I say it runs lousy I mean that is lags off the line and hiccups at low speeds. Disciplining your kids?

So I've been taking care of my 2 young nephews everyday for the better part of a year now. I make sure they get outside a lot, read with them, etc.. but when it comes to disciplining, I'm not sure. Yes this has happened to me plenty of times, as a matter of fact right now as well. Although I only have a cold. I don't have a scratchy throat. However I do have bruises that don't feel pain over my body, 1 or 2. This has happened to me before, nothing happens after my illness is gone and the bruises vanish. Suspected mold in rental unit?

My family & I recently moved 100 miles into a rental house. The owner is still trying to sell the house but is renting it through a property management company in the mean time. When we looked at the house we were aware there was a leak in one of the rooms & we were told it was to be fixed shortly. Since moving in there has been an exceptional amount of rain in our area. We have lived here for over a month now & nothing has been done to repair the roof. The realtor brought a contractor over to look at it, but that was well over 2 weeks ago. We have heard from several people that this house has been for sale for over 2 years and the current owner has received estimates from every contracting company in town, literally EVERY one(it's a town with a population of less than 20,000). My husband works for one of them & his boss said when he did the estimate for the owner he didn't want to pay for anything. He got the impression he was only getting estimates to make it seem like he was going to fix it, but really just wants to sell it as is. As a result of all the rain there now appears to be black mold growing on the exposed insulation in the room with th leaking roof. My 3 year old son constantly has a runny nose ans we both constantly seem to have what feels like pink-eye. I also experience frequent headaches. These are not problems we experienced before living in this house. I'm concerned for our health, but since moving I have lost my job so we don't have money to just move again. I have known him for 7 years. We have lunch once a week and that day when I visit, I bring him some prepared dinners to put in his freezer, do a few household tasks that drain his energy & help him run a few errands if needed. I really do or did enjoy his company, but he is becoming increasingly clingy. He says without me he would have no reason to go on. He calls me every night. I have told him he needs to get a hobby, join a club, go to church, talk to neighbors or find some way to make more friends, but he insists he is happy just having me. He sliced off a very large piece of steak and stuffed it in his mouth. A few months ago he did this and it caused an esophageal spasm (looks like choking or a heart attack, but not life threatening) which involved paramedics & disruption of the other diners. The doctor strictly forbade him from eating steak again, but there he was at Sizzler, smirking & saying he was a grown man. I told him the piece was far too big & he said "yes mommy" in a sarcastic tone. Well guess what? Spasm, scene, ambulance ride, overnight in the hospital to remove the food. When I picked him up the next morning he said "you really do care about me don't you? This has made our bond stronger hasn't it"? I felt sickened & enraged at that statement and told him "No, you knowingly risking your health does not make me feel closer to you, that would be sick & twisted". It's as if he did it on purpose for extra attention. Now, I feel nauseous just thinking about being around him, I cringe when the phone rings and I feel trapped. I do not want to hurt him. If I stop coming around, he'll probably opt to shrivel up and die, which would be his choice, but I would still feel guilty for breaking his lonely little old man heart. I want him to be happy, I do care, but he is not emotionally healthy for me. Can anyone suggest a middle ground? A win-win? Thanks

Family issues e.g. spoilt sister.?

I have troubles in my family as with 3 sisters and two being segregated against singled out if you like. My youngest sister is 27 and has had everything given to her from very young. She just needs to ask and act down and depressed like a spoilt brat and 9 times out of 10 she gets it. My oldest big sister lives in Edinburgh and doesn’t take much to do with my family i can see why now. Me i am like the spawn of Satan to my step dad he is not in any means my real dad but as for my youngest sister she is the opposite, Miss Perfect good two shoes can do no wrong. drives me nuts as i still see and talk to my mum am not as close to her as i was years back but that’s because of the way i was treated she told me she was trying to Hate me because of the man she apparently loves so much he is more like a parasite than won’t die. My mum’s makes excuses for his behaviour several times and uses her illnesses as a way of getting out of being asked questioned about the way her man is with us two also her grandson my son who is now 18. I am wanting to learn to Drive and my sister the spoilt one got put through her driving most paid for and not paid back plus 2 £1000 university courses that she never bothered to learn never paid back has had 3 holidays paid for not paid back helped out whenever she need petrol or car parts etc. and has had £3000 for help with buying stuff for her new house also helped out to buy Christmas presses for her boyfriend and pals and on-going number of things. Me and my other sister get second hand stuff rejects and helped out now and again but made to feel guilty or extremely grateful for it. Sickens and saddens me as my mother who always said she would never take a man over her daughters ever under no circumstances or favouritism with them has done exactly that, in every sense of the word. She doesn’t seem to have the love as much for my older sister who lives in Edinburgh complains about her all the time. Never visits or calls her. I haven’t spoken a sentence to my step dad for years he hasn’t spoke to me and ignores my older sister when she visits makes us both feel unwelcome. I feel he took over as soon as he moved in over 12 years ago. I think he has manipulated my mother’s thought to such a degree that she can’t and won’t think for herself. Help! How do I take out a tampon?

About five hours ago I put in a tampon and I can't get it out. I know that if it's too dry it hurts so I tried wetting it with water. My period is still a medium flow I think. When I was lying down it started to leak though. When I pull on the string it really hurts but I got almost all of the string out, it's the tampon itself. This is my first time using a tampon. Could I get TTS from this? (I'm not totally sure what TTS is but I think you get it from having a tampon in too long)

okay so i have been seein my doctor every 2 weeks because the last time i went my fluid only measured 80 ml but he said as long as it doesn't keep getting lower and doesn't get into the fifties that i should just be concerned and not worry myself sick thinking about the baby's safety. well, i went a few days ago, measured my belly w the tape measure, she was measuring small, had my sono and the fluid levels dropped to 71.5 ml...and he seemed a little concerned about the weight gain. after my sono he did and exam to make sure i wasn't leaking fluid...i wasn't BUT the baby is like right there, and could cause me to dilate at anytime, he moved my appts to weekly and said it may be a possibility that i have to go 2 times a week to monitor the baby. just worried and concerned, anyone else go through this or know someone! advice would be much appreciated! thank you!

Help with Nissan quest A/c?

I have a 2000 Nissan Quest SE. I have a problem with my air condition. I have frequently fixed the problem and filled the freon. Within a couple days, my A/C would stop working. The problem usually is that it is leaking or a part has broke. I have had this problem many times. I am wondering if there could be a clog on the A/C Line that can create this problem ? I know this seems like a "obvious" question because Hawaii is beautiful. But it is really not beautiful, we have one of the highest homeless rates because no freezing weather, and also most of the island is polluted by local people and asians who only accept you if you are the same race as them. Also being on this little island makes me feel claustrophobic :( I have lived here all my life, and moved to Cali for 3 years and then came back, making that transition made me realize how amazing the mainland was. In Hawaii its hot 24/7 which is really sickening, even when you are trying to sleep and its like 80� outside, it really SUCKS really bad. Also seasons are amazing to witness, where as here on Hawaii everyday for the rest of your life you will never witness beautiful fall leaves, or anything, even Christmas is miserable and hot, whats the fun of holidays and stuff if the weather is repetitive every day of your life. i took it apart ad cleaned the carb yesterday. and the hose wasnt really big enough for the gas tank and would keep falling off cuz you couldnt get it up on the thing very good (so i took a screwdriver nd try to make the end of the hose wider so it would fit on to the gas tank more). and i put it all back together. and it had a full tank of gas. And i went to take it out today to fine all the gas is gone nd is on the floor. then i put more gas in it and it didnt leak 4rm anywhere.. went bck later nd it was out also so whts up?, do i put a small pin hole in the gas line whe i try to make the end wider or is there sumrhing wrong with the carb?,. btw its only a 4 stroke 50cc atv

My car stalls when stopping after driving it for 30+ miles?

I drive a 1998 suzuki Sidekick sport with 2000 chevy tracker engine in it, its been running fine up until this point however it has recently started to stall after I drive it for a few dozen miles and then come up to a stop. So last night my husband was watching tv with me and then all of a sudden he was curled in a ball crying and holding his mouth. His face was not swollen or anything it just hurt really bad and i was really scared cause i mean hello what 22 year old man starts crying over a tooth a tooth ache unless its really bad. well he put some aspirin on it and it stopped. he went to work this morning completly fine. he is a farm hand and he was at work 11 hours outside the whole time and it was about 90 here. he was fine all day till about 20 mins before he came home and then he started feeling really sick i checked his temp when he got home and it was 101.5 i gave him some advil it went down he was feeling better and 4 hours later his stomach started hurting.the fever was coming back. he took some tyonal and we went to bed and about an hour later he woke up puking. right before he got sick he was sweating after it stopped.he is sleeping now and it feels like his temp is down. i am kinda scared to go to sleep with him like this. does this sound like an infection in his tooth could have reptured or be leaking or more like head exhaustion ? oh and today his tooth has not hurt him at all

I use tampons all the time. They are easy and everything..but I also know that if you use them too much you can get Toxic Shock Syndrome. How long does it take for my breast to stop producing milk?

My baby is now 7 in a half month old and I BF him for about 6 months. I did not use the rx and just quit breastfeeding cold turkey. At first I had really bad engorgement, but now I no longer have this problem. Don't worry, it's completely normal at your age to be craving sweets and eating alot with all the hormones due to puberty. Try to do things to keep your mind off food. Lose yourself in an interest or find a hobby you enjoy. Try doing some cardio exercise to maintain your weight. And tell your parents to stop buying so many sweets or junk food as it affects you negatively or simply eat in moderation. Tell yourself, you can have just one or two cookies and that's it. It's all about will power. Replace those sweet cravings with some fresh or frozen fruit. It tastes good and is a lot healthier. I've been following this trial since the beginning, and now that the defense is taking over, it's making me worried that the jury is going to buy into Jose Baez's lies and ridiculous stories. I have thought that Casey Anthony was guilty from day one... however, her defense is doing all they can to have "expert" witness's go against the prosecution(which I understand is what they are supposed to do). I think it is absolutely sickening. I am a mother and my daughter passed away when she was a month and half old, and the thought of a mother killing her child with no remorse or care is horrible. Why are dental crowns overrated?

I don't think you've thought this through. You say crowns are worthless but then say I will get it extracted and then get a bridge. Look up what a bridge actually is. It's basically 3 crowns stuck together. They have to take down the teeth on both sides of the "gap" down to "stubs" so the bridge will have something to attach to. You're complaining it's stupid to spend money and grind down one tooth and instead you'll wait for a tooth to break, go through having it extracted, have the teeth on either side "widdled down to a stub" and then pay the equivalent of 3 crowns plus the extraction?? My office charges $825 for a crown. That bridge would be 3 teeth so 3 * $825 plus $125 for the extraction...so about $2600. Doesn't make sense really but it's your money. Crowns are cemented to healthy teeth. Unless he is a scam artist, your dentist should remove all the bad portion of your tooth and rebuild it if he needs to so the crown can seat properly and securely. Bridges leak just like single crowns do so you may to pay that all over again at some point. We just had to replace a bridge on my dad but he had his for 40+ years. It all depends on the quality of the work and how you take care of your teeth after it's done. Just like everything else...bad work and poor maintenance and nothing will last long.

I mean, I am very much into this trial. I believe she did it, but I made this answer through rational thought. The medias hype over this trial is starting to actually sicken me. This was a brutal, awful murder of a little girl, and the media, ( however slyfully ) is manipulating people by over-exposing this case.. using it as a ploy. I am starting to notice the public fanatica surrounding this trial as a result. I see HUNDREDS of people in line daily in the courthouse, giving thumbs up, smiling, rubbing their hands together in anticipation, flashing their wristbands like they just got backstage passes to a KISS concert! These people are clearly more anxious to see someone sentenced to death than what this case is actually about.. kaylee. Most of these people are immaturely adding extremely circumstantial evidence and dismissing any actual facts that could prove casey not to be the killer. People are so hell bent to see someone, anyone, innocent or not, get sentenced to death for own personal, dramatic amusement. I think she did this to her daughter though, collecting and not dismissing ANY evidence I have heard.

A couple months ago, a couple days before spring break I was in my metal tech shop class horsing around with a friend when I cut my elbow on a sharp dirty locker edge the stitches worked nicely but now its near the end of june and the scar is about dark red and very visible....My problem is that whenever I hit that area on a corner of a door or one of my friends accidentally scratch it with a fingernail I get this sickening sharp shooting pain...Btw the cut was bone deep 10 stitches...Should it still be painful to this day?

What to do about my mom?

My mother is a bad mom. Believe me i do not say this lightly. For as long as i can remember she has been hooked on one drug or another and has a serious problem with alcohol. And I am sickened by how the men their treat their women. They treat them like cattle and property. It is a highly patriarchal society. The women cook, clean and look after the children and don't work. 99% of women there are traditional housewives who bow down to their husbands and kiss their feet. My mom however, is a doctor. She is one of the very few women who work. But she still cooks, cleans, looks after my little brother and works. My dad is unemployed at the moment. He doesn't do anything. He just eats, sleeps and goes to the toilet. He occasionally helps my mom. And my parents live in Australia, which is a western society. Sometimes, I wish I could teach my dad a MAJOR lesson. But how? I honestly don't understand how my mom could bear all this. My dad is not that bossy unlike the other Bangladeshi men. He does listen to my mom and he DOES what my mom tells him to do. But he just has a know it all attitude that annoys me. Well, anyway this isn't about my family. It's about my auntie and other women who go through the pain. My auntie is among the 1% who go to work in Bangladesh. She told me her everyday scenario from first thing in the morning is waking up, making breakfast for husband and then apparently getting scolded and getting divorce threats from her husband for making a crap breakfast, then going to work in a crammed bus, and then taking bs from sexist boss. She told me her boss teases and makes fun of her for working because she is a female. Then, after a long & tiring day at work she goes home again to be yelled at by her husband. Her husband accuses her of coming home so late! WTF!!! This is SO messed up! And the rest of the 99% of women don't even get the chance to work because if they work they APPARENTLY will become DISOBEDIENT to their husbands and fathers and become too smart. They stay home and lick their husbands feet and tolerate their BS. The average Bangladeshi woman is dependent on their male relatives their whole entire life, from birth till death. From birth till maturity she is dependent upon her father. After that she is married off & is therefore is dependent upon her husband. And when her husband is old and retires she is dependent upon her son (if she has one). In marriages, the girl has to go live in her husband's parents house where she serves her husband & in laws, especially her mother and father in law. After that she is pressured by husband & in-laws to give birth to a son. I have seen guys go as far as divorcing their wives and marrying new ones because their ex wives have failed to give birth to a son. The women have no say in public matters and society related issues. They are are usually told to shut up because they "don't know anything". I am horribly disgusted with this disgusting attitude towards women and relieved at the same time because I am lucky enough to not be in their shoes. first check to see if the distirbutor is timed with the rest off the motor then check to make sure your distributor advance is hooked up i had this same problem but i fixed mine by messing with the idler adjustment which should be on the throttle cable near the carb or throttle body.

Hi I am an only child that has been abused and insulted by my biological father when I was a child. He's gone, thank god but now my best friend also has an abusive father. I've run into a few over the years as a nurse & the first sign we (the nursing staff) noticed is that the child got sick during the day when mom was there but was fine during evenings & nights when the children were under our care. Moms also wanted to control the children's feedings & meals, often saying they brought in "special foods" that the kids preferred. The kids often started to vomit within an hour after these feedings. When we started to monitor the meals & refused to allow the mother to feed the kids, they got better. The doctors worked with us in telling the mother that the nurses had to do the feedings because we had to do "intake & output sheets" on how much was taken in (in cc' s which was very small measurements that the mother couldn't do). When you first met these mothers they appeared so concerned & doted over the children. We learned though that appearances can be very deceiving.

Well recently my friends going through a lot of stress, and I think I know the problem (even if she wont admit it) her ex-bf or should I say her on/off again bf. How do i handle a situation were my boyfriend has a porn addiction?

Diarrhea for 3 days now 31 weeks pregnant?

I've had diarrhea for 3 days now. I have no other symptoms. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and on modified bed rest for preterm labor. I have had contractions on and off but nothing too serious. I do not feel sick to my stomach and I am not running a fever. I am not lactose intolerant and do not change my cats litter box. I am 25% effaced but not dilated. The baby has been moving perfectly fine. I went to my ob office yesterday and I am in perfect health according to the midwife. I have increase mucous like discharge but my water has not broken. The baby is engaged. Am I getting ready to go into labor? Also, I was bottling my leaking colostrum since I think it'd be stupid to let it go to waste and giving to my toddler who is 21 months old (I have been just sitting with a bottle underneath my nipples to catch it I have not expressed it) but now it turned from yellow to clearish white so my actually breast milk is coming in. Is this labor? I was induced with my first so I don't know what the signs of labor are. OB office doesn't seem too concerned.

Hey, So This summer my friend and I (she's a girl) are planning to go to New York City in August as her mom is doing business over there and she wants a friend to accompany her so she isn't alone the whole time. So I was just wondering if Areas like Downtown Manhattan, Greenwhich Village, Soho, and Noho are safe places for us to be roaming around, exploring & sight seeing and doing fun stuff alone? We are both fifteen years old and are going into grade 11 as of Sept. 2011 and I think that everything will be fine as long as we play it smart. Example: Don't go to any sketchy areas such as Harlem, Brooklyn, or Queens, (we will be on the island) or the Bronx. / Definitely not walking through central park at night, and Just being back at the hotel by a good time like 8-9 or something. I have always wanted to visit NYC and I really hope this works out as does she so if anyone can help me out and Answer this that would be awesome!
