How often is weed smoked in the hood?

I always see people selling crack rock and meth and crazy **** in movies like Boyz In the Hood, Freedom Writers, and a bunch of other movies that take place in the hood, but weed is rarely ever brought up. I live on Cape Cod, where almost nothing ever happens except wannabe gangsters in Hyannis and rich old people living on the water. In my school, at 14, I can say that probably EVERYONE in my school, has seen, held, handled, or smoked marijuana. It's a huge thing here. Is it big in the hood, like.. L.A., Compton, Queens, Harlem, Long Beach, Bronx, all those places. Is it big there like it's big here? Or is it basically crack and crazy *** drugs that are huge there?
