This question is for rappers. If you are a rapper, help and answer my question please (also it would be great if you answered my question and you just happened to be a rapper from The Bronx New York, Brooklyn New York, Philly or West Philly, East Los Angeles or somewhere in LA, Compton California, or Harlem). No underage rappers here please. I am asking only for the help of rappers who have been rapping for a long time and you have to be an Adult to answer my question. I'm a rapper that is 15 years old and I'm wondering do you have to be good at freestyling to make good hip-hop songs? Can't I be one of those rappers who sounds better when I write my stuff down? Like isn't possible I could be a good rapper, but not be great at freestyling or suck at freestyling? I mean for people who are GREAT (great not good, but great) at freestyling (meaning rapping from the top of the head, making it all up as they rap on the spot) all the time, I think think those people are born to be rappers or are probably gonna be great rappers if they're killin it in freestyle. I mean I like to rap and like writing down my verses/lyrics for my hip-hop tracks, but I'm not a good freestyler. Well sometimes when I freestyle I'm good or okay, but that's very rarely. And I'm never GREAT at freestyling. SO THE QUESTION REALLY IS...can I be a good rapper but suck at freestyling?
