Why does New York give birth to the best rappers?

Because they all grew up in poverty and seen stuff in their lives with family issues, drugs, gang violence, and other haunting things and with no money, they had nothing else to do other than rap and they had good stuff to put in their music. Also, being poor helped them become strong and being able to take stuff. It's kinda the same thing with basketball players. They grow up poor and have nothing to do other than play ball.
